The following is the contents of the "Devil Sticks with Neil Stammer" video. It lists the times in minutes:seconds, and gives a brief description of the different clips on the tape.
Note: If you are interested in getting a copy of this I would suggest looking up one of the following vendors at the JIS Jugglers Mall: The Juggling Capitol, Dube, or Serious Juggling.
00:00 - 00:35 | Opening shots and credits |
00:35 - 01:35 | Introduction |
Talked a bit about devilstick history and types of devilsticks (standard devilsticks vs. flowersticks).
01:35 - 02:50 | Basic Devilstick Beginnings |
Hand stick positions, starting position and standing position.
02:50 - 03:10 | Single Sticking |
Hitting the devilstick with each handstick once in basic idle (tick-tock).
03:10 - 03:35 | Double Sticking |
Hitting the devilstick with both handsticks in basic idle (tick-tock).
03:35 - 04:20 | Half Flips |
04:20 - 05:00 | Full Flips |
05:00 - 06:45 | Under the Leg |
Putting the handstick under the leg, straight leg kick, passing the devilstick under the leg and leg rolls.
06:45 - 07:40 | Behind the Back |
Each side and half flips with behind the back.
07:40 - 09:50 | Helicopter Spins |
Helicopter taps and using both handsticks to get helicopter spins.
09:50 - 10:30 | Curls |
Neil version tosses the devilstick up at the peak rather than keeping it on the handstick and curling it all the way around.
10:30 - 12:05 | Propellers |
12:05 - 13:05 | The Buzzsaw |
13:05 - 13:50 | Hooks |
The same thing as arm traps (trapping the deviltick between your arm and handstick).
13:50 - 15:10 | Tricks with Handsticks |
Static Tricks and Handstick Flips.
15:10 - 15:30 | Chopsticks |
15:30 - 16:15 | Two Sticks |
Two devilsticks at the same time.
16:15 - 16:50 | Holding Pattern |
This is one of Neil's trademark tricks. It's a propeller spin around the handstick where the devilstick always stays in contact with the handstick. A very quick, flashy move.
16:50 - 17:10 | My Favorite Trick |
This trick is a propeller, to a behind the back propeller. Then he tosses the devilstick in the air, releases the handstick, catches the handstick around the front and catches the devilstick keeping the propeller still spinning. Nice, very nice.
17:10 - 18:25 | Putting it Together |
This is Neil's devilstick routine.
18:25 - 21:20 | Fire Devilsticks |
Fuel, lighting and using a fire devilstick.
21:20 - 22:25 | End Credits |
